THE BAY
The camp is located in Tarimbang Bay, which is one of three picturesque bays in the Eastern Regency of Sumba Island, East Nusa Tenggara province. An hours flight from Bali and a 3 hours drive from Waingapu Airport or 4 hours from Tambolaka, but all of that is worth it once you first lay eyes on this breathtaking gem.
It is the perfect combination of turquoise water, kilometers of white sandy beach next to lush coastal forest, imposing cliffs on either side of the bay and waves curling of the reef.
THE CAMP
The camp is at the center of 2 km beach front property. There is a fire pit and beach right on the beach and the tents are a stones throw behind, covered under the canopy of the majestic trees. Even during the hottest days it is shady and always with a refreshing breeze. At night times the sound of waves breaking in the background will lull you to sleep.
We can house a total of 14 people on super comfy beds in 5 big and 2 smaller tents. There is a kitchen tent with another fire pit where we bake fresh bread and breakfast buns in the mornings and grill fish or chicken at at night.
